Dear Skimmers, Families and Coaches,

Congratulations on wrapping up the first two weeks of practice! I know it’s been a bit chilly out there, but you all have been pushing through and doing a fantastic job—way to go!

A big thank you to everyone who brought buddies to Buddy Week. Your efforts paid off—we’ve welcomed eight new skimmers to the team thanks to your outreach, and we’re so excited to have them join us!

A couple of quick announcements:

1. Fundraising Dinner Cancellation

Unfortunately, we’ve had to cancel our fundraising dinner due to low ticket sales. However, we’d still love your help in raising funds for the team! Please use the QR code below  and share it with friends and family. Social media, text, email—however you can spread the word. Every bit helps and we appreciate your support!

2. Skimmer Calendar

Be sure to check out the Skimmer calendar online and start syncing it with your family’s schedule. You can accept or decline invitations to upcoming meets directly from there. It’s also a great place to stay up-to-date with all team events and important info.

We hope that everyone participates in all of our Skimmer Fun events this summer!

3. Yard Sign Volunteers Needed

We’re looking for families willing to place Skimmer yard signs in their yards. Ideal locations would be near elementary and middle schools, along main roads, or anywhere with high foot traffic. If your home is in a good spot and you’re willing to help us promote the team, please let us know!
