Hi Skimmer Families,

We have been invited to support a very special event, and we would love for our Skimmers community to be a part of it!

Special Olympics Northern California is hosting one of their biggest competitions of the season and is in need of volunteers to help time events and cheer on the athletes. This regional competition brings together over 600 athletes competing in swimming, track & field, and tennis from across Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, Humboldt, and Solano Counties.

We were able to support this event last year, and it was truly a rewarding and memorable experience for everyone who participated. It’s a great opportunity to give back, build team spirit, and support incredible athletes as they go for the gold!

Volunteer Details:

• Volunteers ages 10–13 must be accompanied by a parent who is also registered
• Volunteers under 18 must have a parent-signed online waiver
• Lunch will be provided for all registered volunteers
